My names are Mayanja Nicholina, a 28 year Ugandan lady born
from kotida from a family of 8 children and me being the 7th born.
My parents are Mr, Lotukei and Mrs. Lucia

I come from the north eastern part of Uganda, the region is best
known for nomadic pasturism where herds men moving with
animals from place to place in search of water and pasture for their
animals because of the semi-arid area of the place that receives
annual rainfall of 500-800 mm.
For so long as l remember l have always had an interest and
passion for animals. I grew up feeding animals, treating them,
learning animal language and cleaning animal shelter. It is pride
for one to have animals in their family in our region and this
explains why my family has 600 cows, 80pigs and 150 goats.
