I have a diploma in Animal Production and Management and I am currently a student at a dairy farm at Mxxxxx Aps (04-2023 to present). I work with 150 dairy cows and around 150 calves and heifers. My internship will end in November 2024 and i am looking for a work contract.

I am experienced with-

• Milking cows.
• Taking milk tests
• Pushing up feed by mini loader.
• Feeding calves.
• Giving straw with a straw machine.
• preparing cows for insemination and pregnancy test.
• Report health and welfare issues including lameness, mastitis, and diarrhoea.
• Covering and uncovering grass and maize silage.
• Help in hoof cutting and ear tagging.
• Monitoring the herd on Easycow app
• Driving mini-loader.

I am very happy, outgoing, flexible,responsible and eager to learn new things. Throughout my work experience, I have learned to take responsibility, show initiative and work systematically and always with a good overview. I also place a lot of emphasis on being a good colleague and helping out where I’m needed.
